Card Services credit cardholders may incur a $2 paper statement fee each month they are issued a paper statement, debited to their account in the following statement period. This may be waived in limited circumstances. Receiving statements electronically means not having to pay this fee.
1. Will my Credit Card eStatement look the same as the paper statement I receive in the mail?

Yes, the PDF eStatement will look the same as your paper statement and it's legally acceptable. For record keeping purposes, you can save and print your eStatements in the same format as a paper statement.
2. How do I update my email address to receive electronic communications?

To update your email address to receive electronic communications:
- Log on to Card Services Online with your User ID and password
- Select 'My Profile' under 'Services'
- Click on 'Personal Information' > 'View/update details'
- Confirm the email address that we will send your statements to is correct. If it's not, change your email address by selecting 'Update information' (make sure you have your mobile phone handy as we will send you an OTP to access that function)
3. Are eStatements and other electronic communications secure?

eStatements and e-notices are password protected so only you can access them. When you open your eStatement or other electronic communications, you need to make sure you close all open browsers in order to protect your account information.
It's recommended that you remove the temporary internet files from your internet browser after viewing your electronic communications.
4. How do I switch to receive Statements and Notices electronically?

To enrol for eCommunications, follow these simple steps:
- Log on to Card Services Online with your User ID and password
- Select 'My Profile' under 'Services'
- Click on 'E-Statements and E-Notices' > 'Register/Manage your eStatement & eNotice'
- Click 'Edit' and enter your new eCommunications password. Click 'Next'
- Confirm the email address that we will send your statements to is correct. If it's not, change your email address by selecting 'Update information' (make sure you have your mobile phone handy as we will send you an OTP to access that function) within the 'My Profile' > 'Personal Information' section
- Accept the terms and conditions
- You'll then be asked to verify the information you've supplied to us, if it's all ok, click on confirm and you're all set.
5. When will I receive my first eStatement?

You will be enrolled for eStatements within 10 business days of submitting your registration request, and will receive your first eStatement the next time a Statement is issued for your account.
6. Do I have to log in to view my eStatement?

We will send your eStatement to your nominated email as a PDF attachment that is password protected. You can also log on to Card Services Online at any time to search and view up to 7 years' worth of statements.
7. What happens if I don't receive an email notification?

You should first log on to Card Services Online and confirm that your email address is correct. If it's incorrect, please update it by following the instructions listed under 'How do I update my email address to receive electronic communications?'
If you find that the email address is correct but you did not receive an email notification, please check your junk/spam folder of your email account and add estatements@cardservicesdirect.com.au to your Safe Sender list.
8. Do I need to let Card Services know if I change my email address?

Yes, it's important to keep your email address current to ensure eStatements are sent correctly. You can update your details on Card Services Online.

Your default Password is your date of birth in the following format DDMmmYYYY (i.e. 10Jan1990). You have the option to change this to a password of your choice.

When an account is closed it's no longer accessible online, so you won't be able to view your past eStatements. Prior to closing your account, make sure you print or save any eStatements you may require.
